Admire Roy Goodwin's beautifully restored pair, a Simplicity 9020 and 4041 . . .

I bought these in a farm auction and they were in pretty bad shape.  I had to have both the motors rebuilt, work on many broken pieces and replace lots of parts.  It has taken me over a year to get them ready but had some good people to help me along the way.  At any rate, I am pleased they turned out so well and have learned a lot about these tractors from this experience.  Thank goodness I had a junk tractor (4040) to rob from when needed.  It has been a fun experience but I don't think I will jump into anymore projects like this anytime soon.

It's just not fair -- If only I had one tractor this nice . . .   But, Mama never said life was fair . . ..                  Kent
