Early or Late Model 700 Series?

It's easy to tell the early model 700 series from any other AC tractor, or to distinguish them from the later model 700 series.  Allis-Chalmers changed the type and placement of the headlights about the middle of the series production.

Early Models

Late Models

Earlier 700 series started with the 710, 712, and 716 models.  More transmission options gradually became available.   A 718 model, with even more horsepower, was introduced about 1979.

Browse the 1974 model 700s (early-style), the 1977 model 700s (late-style), or a 1979 model 718, using links on the right.  Almost all their attachments and accessories are interchangeable.
